Geoff Evison,
Managing Director & Portfolio Manager
Geoff is the co-founder of Arkx and one of its two Portfolio Managers.
He entered the financial services industry in 1985 as a trader with BZW, the largest market making firm in the UK. In 1988, he moved to Australia and with two colleagues established the options trading team of BZW Australia.
He remained in Australia until 1996, trading equity options on the Sydney trading floor. In 1997, Geoff joined Nomura in London as the principal proprietary trader for South East Asia markets. Prior to forming Arkx, Geoff was employed by local hedge fund, St Helens Capital Pty Ltd, to assist in running its investment portfolio.
Since founding Arkx in 2007 Geoff has built a reputation across the Australian finance community as a person who understands clean energy investment and knows how to assist investors benefit from the transition to a low carbon economy.
